Every car lesson is €45 an hour, booked as two-hour sessions. Motorcycle IBT is €650 for the full weekend, motorcycle pre-test lessons are €45 an hour, and test car hire is €120. You deal with me directly, and you know the price before you book.
Car lessons
All car lessons are in my manual, dual-control school car. EDT, refresher, intensive and pre-test lessons are all the same rate. I don’t offer 90-minute lessons: a two-hour session gives us enough time to practise properly and make real progress.

Minimum booking is a two-hour session, €90. You can book up to four hours in one go for €180. All 12 EDT lessons come to €540.

IBT runs at my RSA-approved centres in Kinnegad Plaza and Tullamore, with free transport from the Red Cow Luas stop, Naas town or Sallins town. Pre-test and road lessons can be anywhere in Dublin.

The full weekend, with the bike, helmet and riding gear included. A €50 deposit secures your date and comes off the price.

Pickup and transport
Free pickup near the test centres
Pickup is free within about 10 minutes’ drive of the driving test centres in Tallaght, Dún Laoghaire, Naas and Carlow. Farther away, I can usually still collect you for an extra charge. Send me your location on WhatsApp and I’ll give you the price first.
Free transport to IBT
Free from the Red Cow Luas stop, Naas town or Sallins town to Kinnegad or Tullamore. From anywhere else, message me and I’ll arrange it, with the price depending on the distance.
Booking, deposits and cancellations
The same rules apply to every car lesson, motorcycle lesson, IBT weekend and test car hire.
- Every car and motorcycle session is paid in advance when you book, either in full or with a €50 deposit that comes off the price of the session.
- For IBT, a €50 deposit secures your weekend and comes off the €650 course price.
- To change a booking, tell me at least 7 days before. Your payment moves to the new date. You can reschedule once, and the new date is final.
- If you cancel with less than 7 days’ notice, or don’t turn up, the money you paid is not refunded. It covers the time I set aside and my travel to meet you.
If you don’t complete IBT on your first weekend, I’ll arrange one extra half-day free of charge. Any further half-days are €300 each. Full details are in my terms and conditions.
Pricing questions
How much is a driving lesson?
€45 an hour for every car lesson, including EDT, refresher, intensive and pre-test lessons. The minimum booking is a two-hour session, €90, and the longest is four hours, €180.
Do you offer 90-minute lessons?
No. My standard session is two hours, and you can book two sessions together.
How much is test car hire?
€120 for the car only, or €150 with a one-hour warm-up lesson just before your test.
How much is motorcycle IBT?
€650 for A1, A2 and A, run over a full weekend, with the bike, helmet and riding gear included. A €50 deposit secures your date and comes off the price.
How much are motorcycle pre-test lessons?
