I’m Vlastislav Obsil, an RSA-approved driving instructor (ADI number 42951) and an approved IBT instructor. I run Raven Driving Training myself, so every car and motorcycle lesson is with me, from your first call to the day you pass. Most of my students call me Vlastik. I’m registered with the RSA to teach in Dublin, Kildare and Meath, and 95 out of every 100 students I prepare pass their test.

One instructor, one point of contact
There is no call centre, no office team and no third party at Raven. When you ring or message, you speak to me, and I’m the one in the car or on the bike with you. You know who is teaching you, and I know exactly where you are with your training.
Free pickup near the test centres
Pickup is free within about 10 minutes’ drive of the test centres in Tallaght, Dún Laoghaire, Naas and Carlow. If you’re farther away, I can usually still collect you for an extra charge, and I’ll tell you the cost on WhatsApp first.
Lessons that count
I’m RSA approved as both an ADI and an IBT instructor, so your EDT lessons and IBT modules count towards your licence.

Motorbikes are in my family
Motorbikes are a family tradition for me, and so is a love of racing. That love for bikes is why I teach riders as well as drivers, and why I care so much that every rider I train is safe, confident and in control.
My approach is simple: patience, clear explanations and practical advice you can use on real roads. I don’t rush anyone. Nervous learners get the time they need, and confident learners get pushed to tidy up the details that cost marks on the test.

Peter came to me knowing nothing about riding. He was very anxious about his balance and whether he could even control the motorcycle. After a few lessons he had a real grip of it, his confidence came on quickly, and he passed his test with zero mistakes.
Lisa
Lisa was really nervous about the gearbox and told me changing gear was her biggest problem. Three lessons later it was almost second nature. She passed with no problem, she enjoys driving today, and she’s one of my best students.

Where I teach
- Car lessons: Rathfarnham and all of South Dublin, plus Naas and Carlow.
- Motorcycle road and pre-test lessons: anywhere in Dublin, North or South.
- Motorcycle IBT: at the RSA-approved training centres in Kinnegad and Tullamore, with free transport from the Red Cow Luas stop, Naas town or Sallins town.

Can you pick me up for my lesson?
Pickup is free within about 10 minutes’ drive of the driving test centres in Tallaght, Dún Laoghaire, Naas and Carlow. If you live farther away, I can usually still collect you for an extra charge. Send me your location on WhatsApp and I’ll tell you the cost before you book.
Do you teach automatic cars?
No. I teach manual car lessons only.
