Why riders train with Raven

  • One instructor from start to finish. IBT, pre-test lessons and the run-up to your test, all with me. You deal with one person the whole way.
  • South Dublin road lessons. Pre-test and back-to-riding sessions start from my office at Bridge Enterprise Centres, Nutgrove Way, Rathfarnham.
  • Cars too. I also teach manual car lessons, so families with more than one learner can learn with the same instructor. Car lessons
  • RSA approved. I am RSA-approved for car lessons and IBT, ADI number 42951. You can check me on the RSA instructor finder.

Motorcycle training questions

Where do you teach motorcycle lessons?

IBT runs at my RSA-approved centres in Kinnegad Plaza and Tullamore. Pre-test and back-to-riding lessons run anywhere in Dublin from my Rathfarnham office.

Which motorcycle categories do you teach?

A1, A2 and A.

Do I need IBT before pre-test lessons?

Yes. You must complete IBT before riding on a public road as a learner, so IBT comes first.

Do I need my own bike?

Not for IBT. The bike, helmet and riding gear are included, and I have a bike for every category I teach. For pre-test lessons you can use your own bike or hire one of mine.

How soon can I sit my motorcycle test?

First-time learner permit holders must have held the permit for six months. Riders using progressive access do not need to wait.

How much does motorcycle training cost with Raven?

IBT is €650 for A1, A2 and A, run over a full weekend. Pre-test lessons are €45 an hour (minimum two hours, €90, on my bike), my test-day package with bike hire is €200, and back-to-riding or advanced lessons are €90 for two hours.

Can you take me to Kinnegad for IBT?

Yes. Transport is free from the Red Cow Luas stop, Naas town or Sallins town. From anywhere else, message me on WhatsApp and I’ll arrange it, with the price depending on the distance.
